so on saturday we planned to leave by nine in the morning.
we left at quarter to one.
yup, just a little bit behind schedule.
the drive up was pretty good. i entertained myself with my music and a package of nibs. that worked pretty good until a certain younger sibling declared that she wanted to listen to bullfrogs and butterflies. so we listened through that cd. twice.
and then, once we were about half an hour away from the cottage, another sibling insisted that she had to use the washroom really badly. so we stopped at walmart. i volunteered to take her in, because i was so sick of the van by then.
i walked into the store empty-handed and came out with three dvds.
on sunday morning we went to this great church. seriously, i luved it. we got to sing chris tomlin and micheal w. smith songs. that's not something that happens at my church.
that afternoon we went to the beach, where i reached a conclusion.
overweight people should not wear speedos or bikinis, because it just looks wrong.
sunday afternoon was probably the nicest time that we swam. it was really hot and the water was perfect.
the other days it rained a bit, but it always cleared up so we got to swim every day.
my shoulders got really sunburnt. and now they're peeling and it looks really gross.
so while we were there i spent a lot of time watching tv.
joy, what i'm gonna do next will make you proud of me. i wrote down a whole bunch of quotes from different tv shows. i think they're great, but i'm guessing that no one else will care about them.
